In this opening story for the Eleventh Doctor's second year with Titan Comics, he's forced to confront his past in a story that has many pacing issues that bring it down. As a warning, there will be spoilers and references to recent modern episodes of the series.
One of my favorite Classic Who episodes, I decided to read the novelization for my first Target book and I was not disappointed.
I have now watched this movie at least three times, and finally, on my third viewing, I realized just how well it captures Doctor Who and foreshadowed what the show would become.
